Geese toward Heng Yang intend not to stay.
四面边声连角起，千嶂里，长烟落日孤城闭。
Bugles sound along with borderland noises.
Thousands of mountains roll onward,
At sunset, smoke rises in closed lone castle.
浊酒一杯家万里，燕然未勒归无计。
A cup of unstrained wine reminisces home.
Without merit in victory, return plan is on hold.
羌管悠悠霜满地，人不寐，将军白发征夫泪。
Qiang flute music lingers with frost on ground.
Men couldn’t fall asleep.
General’s hair turns gray and soldiers weep.
