“HSKK” Course Introduction

【As a proof of a foreign student's ability to study Chinese at a Chinese institution,

HSKK scores are valid for two years (from the date of the test.)】

Let's start with what the HSKK exam looks like.HSKK is mainly divided into HSKK (elementary), HSKK (intermediate) and HSKK (advanced). The test is in the form of audio recording.

 

HSKK Elementary 

Test Object:

(1)Candidates who have mastered about 200 of the most commonly used words.

(2)Candidates who can understand and orally express familiar daily topics in Chinese to meet basic communication needs.

Content of examination:

The test will take about 20 minutes (including 7 minutes of preparation time).

(1)Part one:15 questions. Play one sentence per question. Listen and repeat each test question.

(2)Part two: 10 questions. Play one question for each test question. Listen and give a short answer.

(3)Part three: 2 questions. The test paper provides two questions (with Pinyin) for the examinee to answer, and at least 5 sentences are required as answers to each question.

 

HSKK Intermediate

Test Object:

(1)Candidates who have mastered about 900 of the most commonly used words.

(2)Candidates who can understand and communicate with native Chinese speakers fluently in Chinese.

Content of examination:

The test will take about 23 minutes (including 10 minutes of preparation time)

(1)Part one, 10 questions. Play one question for each test question. Listen and repeat each sentence.

(2)Part two: 2 questions. Each question provides a picture, and examinee is required to say a paragraph according to the picture.

(3)Part three: 2 questions. The test paper provides two questions (with Pinyin) for the examinee to answer.

 

HSKK Advanced 

Test Object:

(1)Candidates who have mastered about 3000 common words.

(2)Candidates who can understand and express their opinions fluently in Chinese

Content of examination:

The test will take about 25 minutes (including 10 minutes of preparation time).

(1)Part one: 3 questions. Listen to the passage and repeat it.

(2)Part two: 1 question. The examinee reads a passage from the test paper.

(3)Part three: 2 questions. The test paper provides two questions to read and answer.
